MICHAEL SKELLY
Principal
After Studying BTEC Performing Arts at Southport College, Michael went onto study at the University of Cumbria, graduating with a BA Joint (Hons) in Dance Performance & Musical Theatre Performance. Since graduating he has built up a diverse CV, with professional Musical Theatre and Dance credits to his name, including dance performances across many prestigious theatres throughout the UK and Europe.
Michael went onto study at Edge Hill University graduating with a PGCE.
He has had vast experience in Dance, Drama & Musical Theatre curriculum's with a demonstrable track record in both areas.
He has taught the arts all over the UK, Including Programme Leader of dance at Leicester College & Southport College and taught all over Australia, in places such as Perth, Melbourne and through the outback.
In 2020, Michael graduated with a Masters in Business Management from the University of Liverpool.

KELLY PHILLIPS
Principal
Kelly is now back in the UK wanting to pass on all of her professional dance knowledge, providing fun & energetic dance classes. With years of experience; dancing on MTV Awards, major cruise lines, tours and Bollywood movies. Having teaching experiences from all over the world has inspired Kelly to come back to her local community to encourage children and strengthen their confidence, discover & recognise their own talents and abilities whilst gaining more knowledge of the benefits of a healthier balanced lifestyle.
GLENDA HILL
Dance Teacher
Glenda Hill is a professionally qualified and registered ISTD teacher. She studied extensively at Salford University and Preston College Dance Centre, studying all aspects of Theatre Arts.
Since graduating she taught at various dance and drama schools throughout the North-West and choreographed for professional theatre companies before founding Glenda Hill Theatreworks in 1996. With Theatreworks she choreographed and produced countless theatre productions and entered students for hundreds of ISTD Ballet, Tap and Modern qualifications with excellent results. Glenda takes pride in assisting students to gain confidence in all aspects of life not just their dance/theatre studies.

​In 2018 she moved away from Theatreworks to pursue other career opportunities and challenges. She is now an Agent for Cheshire Talent working with Children and Adults creating audition opportunities in Theatre, Film and TV. As well as working closely with dance and drama schools in assisting them with the development and growth of their business. Glenda is also proud to be asked to regularly adjudicate at UKDCC events.
Glenda feels very honoured to have been asked to work with the students at Connect Studios and looks forward to working with the principals in developing the examination department.
MEGAN BOWERS
Dance Teacher
Megan Bowers trained at Rare studios and Broadway Dance Centre after receiving a scholarship to train over in New York City. Megan has performed for many cooperate, TV, and stage events, such as TOP OF THE POPS, Capital jingle bell ball, JAX JONES, BBC worldwide and many more. She now teaches all over the UK and is a judge for many different dance competitions.
VIKKI EARLE
ACRO TEACHER
Vikki trained at the Arden school of theatre before furthering her training at Shockout Arts, Manchester.
At the end of 2020, vikki played the lead role sleeping beauty at the Bradford playhouse.
At the beginning of 2020, Vikki tackled a leading role in the world premier “health and safety”, A brand new play written by David Spicer which is set to tour in 2022. Vikki’s other 2020 engagements where an online series of plays which included the offcom award winning ‘doing shakespeare’ and ‘doing book club’.
Dance and choreography credits include music videos and backing artist; little mix, plan B, the bedlam six and dan le sac. Last summer, Vikki performed and choreographed on behalf of team GB in sports acrobatics at the world gymanestrada, Austria. Since returning home Vikki has had acro soloists competing up and down the country as well as her sports acro team performing on a national level at events like “The British”, “gym for life”, “Scottish gym fest” and the “Liverpool ministrada”.
